Ahead of the Ram Mandir foundation-laying event at Ayodhya on August 5, the pics of a silver brick to be placed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi have been released.

The weighty silver brick, tweeted by a BJP spokesperson, has the words "Foundation laying by honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Damodar Das Modi ji... Jai Shri Ram, on August 5, 2020, at 12:15:15" inscribed on it.

It reportedly weighs 22.6 kg.

As many as 200 high-profile guests, among them saints and politicians, will be present for the ceremony. Modi will address the gathering after the foundation-laying ceremony. To be telecast LIVE on Doordarshan, the event will be a grand one.

The construction of the magnificent temple will reportedly take at least three years.
