Modi is not an OBC: Mayawati

Former UP CM and BSP supremo Mayawati has accused Narendra Modi of telling lies with respect to the SP-BSP Gathbandhan (alliance).

“The Prime Minister’s accusation that the alliance is casteist is absurd. How can those who suffered from casteism be casteist?” the Dalit leader asked.  

She made a startling allegation that Modi doesn’t belong to the OBC group.  “The entire country knows that Modi isn’t an OBC by birth.  He hasn’t suffered from the atrocities of casteism.  How can he spread lies against the alliance?” Maya added.

Meanwhile in UP, SP and BSP are believed to be facing vote-transfer issues to the tune of 15 percent.  As per a field survey, only 85% votes have been transferred between the two partners in the last 5 phases.  If that is true, BJP is in for a huge advantage.
