Harikishan, the popular mimicry artist, is no more. Aged 57, the celebrated talent today passed away due to some illness.
Born in 1963 in Eluru, Harikishan took to mimicry naturally as a child. It was his natural flair to imitate his teachers and friends, much to everyone's adulation, without formal training.
Gradually, he honed his skills and went on to perform at events. After getting due recognition domestically, Harikishan performed at scores of cultural events in the US and other countries.
From the voices of NT Rama Rao, ANR, Krishna to those of Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna and Nagarjuna, he could ace them like a pro. Even young heroes were imitated by him in the best way. On one occasion, he imitated then Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Babu in his presence, only to be congratulated for getting it bang on.
IndiaGlitz condoles the demise of the super-talented artist.
