Pan Indian actor Sonu Sood had been doing great service during the corona lockdown phase as he helped many people by serving food and essentials daily besides helping thousands of migrant workers get back to their homes, by arranging transport facilities.
Now the actor is going a step ahead and is set to launch an app called Pravasi Rojgar to help migrant workers find jobs. This app will be launched on July 23 with job opportunities from 500 reputed companies working on construction, apparel, healthcare, engineering, BPOs, security, automobile, e-commerce and logistics.
Support centres with 24-hour helpline are set up in seven cities namely Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Coimbatore, Ahmedabad and Thiruvananthapuram to assist people in finding jobs. The app has been designed based on Sonu Sood’s interactions with migrant workers and the kind of work they were expecting as many lost jobs during lockdown.
