Dhanush after delivering the critically acclaimed and commercially successful ‘Vada Chennai’ is shooting back to back for Vetrimaaran’s ‘Asuran’ and an untitled project produced by Sathyajyothi Films and directed by Durai Senthilkumar. The second mentioned project has Dhanush playing dual roles with Sneha as his pair and the second female lead was kept under wraps.
Sathyajyothi Films have now confirmed officially that Mehreen Pirzada has been roped in to play the pair for the second character Dhanush is playing the new movie. Mehreen Pirzada a popular name in Telugu cinema has already done Suseenthiran’s ‘Nenjile Thunivirunthaal’ and ‘NOTA’ starring Vijay Devarakonda.
Meanwhile Dhanush’s English movie ‘The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir’ is releasing in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu as ‘Pakkiri’ on June 21st.
