The much-awaited trailer of Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya’s upcoming youthful entertainer EPIC – FIRST SEMESTER is finally out, offering a glimpse into a fun-filled yet emotional college love story. The trailer promises a refreshing mix of romance, friendship, humour, youthful energy and an unfinished chapter that is sure to leave audiences curious.
Directed by debutant Aditya Haasan, the film takes viewers into the vibrant world of college life abroad. From crazy friendships and memorable moments to relationships and first love, the trailer captures the innocence and madness associated with the college years.
At the centre of the story are Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya. Their chemistry forms one of the major highlights of the trailer, with their relationship moving from light-hearted college romance into a more emotional and complicated phase.
What initially appears to be a fun and relatable love story takes an unexpected turn. The trailer deliberately leaves one major question unanswered—what happened to their story? This unfinished element adds intrigue and makes viewers curious about what ultimately separates the lead pair and how their journey concludes.
The trailer strikes a good balance between romance, comedy, friendship and emotion, while several situations are designed to remind audiences of their own college experiences. The youthful performances and relatable moments further add to the film’s appeal.
The movie has already generated interest through its songs and promotional content. The team has also been actively promoting the film through college visits, city tours and promotional interactions across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, connecting directly with the target audience.
EPIC – FIRST SEMESTER is produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, and presented by Srikara Studios. Hesham Abdul Wahab has composed the music.
With an unfinished love story at its heart, the film aims to take audiences on a nostalgic trip down memory lane, filled with friendship, first love and unforgettable college moments.
