'Mehbooba' Trailer: A Rebellion Against Orthodoxy

'Mehbooba' may or may not remind people of Anil Sharma-Sunny Deol's 'Gadar', but it is expected to have a strong Puri Jagannadh mark. In his rebellion against orthodoxy, the hero (Akash Puri becomes a full-fledged, mainstream hero) will hail Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan (you know why these names are there) but will never submit himself to fanatics. By the way, Akash's baritone sounds very matured.
Patriotism is the undercurrent throughout the trailer. Whoever said it, Puri here makes full use of the aphorism 'No one loves a soldier until the enemy is at the gate'.
If the hero is fiery, the heroine (Nithya Shetty) is a total contrast. She is peaceful. But her elders are not. Everything is straightforward, but not the 'We will be reborn' stuff. Is there more than what meets the eye?
Sandeep Chowtha's music, Vishnu Sharma's cinematography, Anil Paduri's VFX, Junaid Siddiqui's editing, Real Satish's action choreography, Jani Sheik's art direction are potential big takeaways.
On May 11, we will know if it's vintage Puri who is on a rampage. He has penned the story, screenplay, and dialogues.
