Megha Akash to step into Samantha’s shoes

Pawan Kalyan-Trivikram Srinivas’ 2013 blockbuster, ‘Attarintiki Daredi’, is being remade in Tamil with Simbu as the hero.  The film will be shot from September end by director Sundar C.

The news is that ‘LIE’ and ‘Chal Mohana Ranga’ heroine Megha Akash has been roped in (most probably, this is final) to step into Samantha’s shoes.  She is already doing a film opposite Dhanush.

It has to be seen as to who will play other crucial roles in this family entertainer.  The original featured Nadhiya, Boman Irani, Rao Ramesh, Pranitha Subhash and others in interesting roles.  The untitled Tamil remake will be shot in Hyderabad for the most part.
