Arjun Das is one of the upcoming Tamil actors who gained a huge fan following for his stiff voice. He rose to fame through Lokesh Kanagaraj's 'Kaithi', who later went on to star in 'Andhagaaram' and Thalapathy Vijay starrer 'Master'.
Now, the latest is that Arjun Das is all set to make his Bollywood debut as a lead actor. He will be starring in the Hindi remake of the critically acclaimed 2017 Malayalam film 'Angamaly Diaries'. An inside report suggests that Suriya is the one who insisted Arjun Das to play the lead role in the remake.
KD fame Madhumita is helming the Bollywood adaptation, which also marks her Hindi debut. The film, centred on a group of youngsters, is set in rural Goa. The shooting is over and the post-production is underway. Produced by Abundantia Entertainment, an official announcement about the movie will arrive soon.
On the work front, Arjun Das is also playing the lead in Vasantha Balan's 'Aneethi'. He was last seen sharing screen space with Suriya in Kamal Haasan's 'Vikram'. The actor is expected to play pivotal roles in 'Kaithi 2' and 'Vikram 3' in Lokesh Kanagaraj's cinematic universe.
