‘Maragadha Naanayam 2’ Officially Announced!

The much-awaited sequel to the 2017 cult hit fantasy-comedy Maragadha Naanayam has finally been officially confirmed! The makers released a thrilling promo video on the occasion of Pongal (January 15, 2026), generating massive excitement among fans who have been eagerly awaiting updates for years.
The original film, directed by ARK Saravan (in his debut), became a surprise blockbuster with its unique blend of humor, adventure, supernatural elements, and a cursed emerald coin storyline. Starring Aadhi Pinisetty and Nikki Galrani, it earned a strong cult following for its quirky characters, witty dialogues, and entertaining VFX.
In Maragadha Naanayam 2, Aadhi reprises his role as the lead, joined once again by Nikki Galrani. The sequel brings back several familiar faces from the first part, including Munishkanth, Anandaraj, Arunraja Kamaraj, and others in key roles. New additions to the star cast include powerhouse performers Sathyaraj and Priya Bhavani Shankar, promising elevated drama and comedy.
ARK Saravan returns to direct the sequel, ensuring the same fun, mysterious, and supernatural vibe that made the original a favorite. The technical team features:
