Tollywood actor Manchu Manoj held an extensive and heartfelt media interaction on the occasion of his birthday, where he opened up about his newly launched social organization “AIKYA DHAIRYA SENA SAMITHI,” his film career, women empowerment, politics, and upcoming projects.
Speaking about the idea behind AIKYA, Manoj said the initiative was started with the intention of becoming a support system for society and a voice for the voiceless.
“We started with blood donation camps across the state. It began in Kukatpally, then expanded to Kurnool, Kakinada, Tirupati, Vizag and several other places. This is not going to stop. We want AIKYA to become a platform for people who genuinely want to serve society,” Manoj said.

Explaining the meaning behind the organization’s name, the actor said unity was the core philosophy.
“If we keep dividing ourselves, it will only end badly. That division was left behind by the Britishers. We need unity, and that’s why we named it AIKYA. We also named it after our children Dhairav and Devasena because this organization is like our own child,” he added.
Manoj clarified that the trust has no political agenda and is currently being professionally structured with the help of experts. He also stated that the organization would strongly support freedom of speech and stand by people facing threats or suppression.
During the interaction, Manoj also made interesting remarks about politics.
“What is there to newly enter politics when I was born into it?” he said. He further added that his wife would actively enter direct politics and contest in the next elections.

The actor revealed that he alone takes decisions regarding his film career now.
“I stopped agreeing to films in 2016 because too many people were interfering in my decisions. Now, Manoj alone takes all the decisions regarding films,” he stated.
Speaking about his upcoming film “Rakshak,” Manoj revealed that the movie is based on women empowerment and social issues, with him playing the role of a DCP. The film is scheduled to have its grand launch on June 7, during which the complete details of the AIKYA organization will also be officially announced.
The actor also shared updates on his ambitious project “David Reddy,” confirming that nearly 40 percent of the shoot has already been completed. He described it as a large-scale film being mounted without compromises.

Manoj also confirmed that the comedy entertainer “What The Fish,” which was planned with Satya Akkala and Vennela Kishore, has been shelved due to casting-related issues.
Apart from films and social initiatives, Manoj spoke about “Namasthe World,” a toy brand being launched by his wife in the Telugu states and Bengaluru.
On a personal note, Manoj said sharing his birthday with N. T. Rama Rao Jr. and legendary lyricist Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry makes the occasion even more special for him.
Ending the interaction on an optimistic note, Manoj emphasized that he wants to balance cinema, public service, and social responsibility together while continuing to stay connected with the people.
