‘Manmadhudu-2’: Cast & crew details revealed

‘Manmadhudu-2’, inspired from K Vijay Bhaskar’s ‘Manmadhudu’, is touted to be a fun-filled entertainer.  The project was on Monday launched at Annapurna Studios.  If Amala Akkineni sounded the first clap, Naga Chaitanya switched on the camera.  Nagarjuna plays the film’s lead man.  

Talking about the shoot and other details, ‘Chi La Sow’ fame director Rahul Ravindran said, “We are heading for an extensive schedule in Europe.  Chaitan Bharadwaj of ‘RX100’ fame has been roped in to compose music tunes. M Sukumar will crank the camera.”  

It will be jointly produced by Akkineni Nagarjuna and P Kiran (Gemini Kiran) on Manam Enterprises and Anandi Art Creations.  

Coming to the casting details, Rakul Preet Singh is the main heroine.  Laxmi, comedian Vennela Kishore, Rao Ramesh, Nassar, Jhansi, and Devadarshini will be seen in other roles.  

Production Designing will be by ‘Rangasthalam’ fame S Ramakrishna and Mounika, who are joined by Nigotre Sabbani. Screenplay is by Rahul Ravindran, and senior writer Satyanand.  Editing is by Chota K Prasad, and B Nageswara Reddy. Dialogues are by Kittu Vissapragada, and Rahul Ravindran.  Costumes are by Anirudh Singh, and Deepika Lalwani.
