Malayalam filmmaker Sanal Kumar Sasidharan, known for movies such as ‘Sexy Durga,’ has been accused by a Malayalam actress of harassment on social media. The actress filed a complaint at the Kochi Elamakkara police station, alleging that Sasidharan constantly tags her in his posts and shares audio clips using her name.
Following the complaint, a case has been registered against the director. In response, Sasidharan shared a copy of the First Information Report (FIR) on his Facebook and Instagram, claiming that someone else might have filed the complaint in the actress’s name. Sasidharan is currently in the United States, so police are considering issuing a lookout notice against him.
This is not the first accusation against Sasidharan by the same actress; a similar complaint was filed in 2022, resulting in his arrest and later release on bail.
