Malavika Mohanan played a weighty role in her Tamil debut 'Petta' with the top notch ensemble cast of Rajinikanth, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Sasikumar, Trisha, Simran and Vijay Sethupathi.  She is currently playing Vijay Devarakonda's pair in the Telugu movie 'Hero' directed by Anand Annamalai the dialogue writer of 'Kaaka Muttai' and 'Kuttramae Thandanai'.  A buzz has started in Bollywood circles that the pretty young actress is in love with Vicky Kaushal of 'Sanju' and 'Manmarziyan' fame.

Vicky and his brother Sunny had visited Malavika's home and had dinner with her mom and Sunny has released a video captaining it ""Deprived of fish curry and rice today. Life is not a Mani Ratnam film today. @vickykaushal09 #dietlife #sincereactor100%." referring to the fact that his brother could not enjoy it as he is dieting.

Malavika Mohanan though hailing from Kerala was brought up in Mumbai and she Vicky and Sunny have been close since childhood.  According to reports Vicky and Malavika have recently developed a romantic relationship and are going strong and steady and will soon make it public.
