‘Majili’ grosses Rs 45 Cr in first week

It was last Friday that ‘Majili’ hit the screens.  At the end of Week 1, the Naga Chaitanya-Samantha starrer has grossed Rs 45.60 Cr.  The romantic drama is a blockbuster. 

In terms of share, the worldwide figure is Rs 28.05 Cr.  The theatrical rights were valued at Rs 21 Cr.  

Nizam threw up Rs 9.48 Cr, while Ceded gave Rs 3 Cr.  Vizag’s Rs 3.08 Cr, Guntur’s Rs 1.63 Cr, Krishna’s Rs 1.46 Cr, East Godavari’s Rs 1.30 Cr, West Godavari’s Rs 0.97 Cr, and Nellore’s Rs 0.6 Cr are very impressive.  

“In Karnataka and Rest Of India (other than AP/TS), the Shiva Nirvana movie made Rs 3 Cr, while in the Overseas territory, it collected Rs 3.30 Cr,” a source says.
