A shocking incident from Maharashtra’s Thane has been reported, where a man had reportedly left the dismembered corpse of his daughter in an auto on Sunday.
Police have revealed that the auto driver registered a complaint. The 47-year-old accused man had allegedly boarded the auto at 5.30 am along with a suitcase containing the body parts of his daughter. A foul smell emanating from the suitcase caused the driver to become suspicious, leading the man to ditch the suitcase in the auto and run away. Following an investigation, it was determined that the accused, Arvind Tiwari, had killed his 22-year-old daughter after she insisted on marrying a man belonging to a different community.
“We are still not sure how he killed her. He only filled some parts in a suitcase which we have found. We are still trying to find out where the rest of the body parts have been kept,” a senior inspector reportedly said, adding that the woman’s head and torso were missing.
