Happy Birthday Ghibran

Today is the birthday of young and one of the most talented music directors Ghibran.

Ghibran made a stunning debut with 'Vaagai Sooda Va' in the year 2011. All the songs in the film were soulful super hits. He gave another entire album of beautiful songs for the film 'Tirumana Ennum Nikkah'.  

Ghibran has stamped his uniqueness, every way. He has mightily impressed the Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan who is a master of all trades in cinema. He has scored music for Kamal's  'Uttama Villain', 'Papanasam'  'Thoongavanam', and the upcoming  'Vishwaroopam 2'. No other music director apart from Ilaiyaraja has worked in four films consecutively with Kamal Haasan. 

Ghibran has not worked in too many films nor he has been a part of many super hit films. But his songs in all the films have had his touch of uniqueness, in the tune, sounds, instruments and orchestration. The 'Adiyeni Kalavani' song in the 'Adhey Kangal' film this year is one of the much soul stirring numbers.

Ghibran's upcoming films are 'Maayavan' the debut directorial of producer C.V.Kumar and 'Chennai To Singapore which is being promoted in an attractive ways. The list also includes Jyothika's 'Magalir Mattum', Nayanthara's 'Arram'. The songs of all these films have been released and they have been garnered positive reviews from music critics and ardent followers of film music. Karthi's 'Dheeran Adhigaram Onnu' directed by 'Sathuranga Vettai' fame H.Vinoth is another big project in which Ghibran is currently working.
