‘Maa Neella Tank’ Trailer: Holds depth, entertains!

‘Maa Neella Tank’ is the latest original offering from ZEE5. Marking the OTT debut of ‘Chi La Sow’ actor Sushanth, the 8-episode series has Priya Anand as the heroine. It starts premiering on ZEE5 from July 15.

Directed by Lakshmi Sowjanya its trailer was released a while ago by pan-India actress Pooja Hegde.

For the looks of it, the series is going to be emotionally satisfying while also being an entertainer. Set in a village named Buchivolu in Rayalaseema, it has Sushanth in the role of a cop. He falls in love with Priya Anand’s Surekha probably after telling her a lie. This lie comes to haunt him in the future.

Meanwhile, Sudarshan’s Gopal is pining for Surekha’s love, which he won’t get! The visuals are pleasant. The promising series purportedly also talks about what love is and why stalking/harassment is not love.

Also starring Prem Sagar (as Kodandam), Nirosha (as Chamundi), Ramraj (as Narasimham), Divi (as Ramy), Annapurnamma, Appaji Ambarisha, Bindu Chandramouli, Sandeep Varanasi, Lavanya Reddy and others, the series is much awaited.

With the story and screenplay by Rajshree Bisht and Suresh Mysore, the series has dialogues and lyrics written by Kittu Vissapragada. Arvind Vishwanath has cranked the camera. The music has been composed by Naren RK Siddhartha.
