Kamal Haasan’s ‘Vikram’ directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj after record breaking collections worldwide at the box office has started streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar OTT platform from midnight on July 8th. The film is as big a blockbuster on the streaming giant as it is in its theatrical run entering the sixth week.
Meanwhile Kamal fans in the USA are irked that their favorite OTT platform Hulu is not streaming ‘Vikram’. Usually Disney Plus Hotstar and Hulu exchange their content but this time the overseas OTT rights of ‘Vikram’ has apparently sold to some other platform.
Kamal fans have posed the question to Hulu on Twitter and the US company has replied “Hi! We don’t have any news to share at this time regarding Vikram, but we’ll be sure to let our team know you’re on the lookout. If there’s anything else we can do for you, let us know!. Since the answer is not no fans are hoping that they will get to watch the film soon on their favorite app.
‘Vikram’ has music by Anirudh and the dream cast of Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, Gayathrie, Vasanthi, Santhanbharathi, Kumaravel, Narain and Suriya among others.
