Surprise Poster Unveils Arjun Sarja’s New Look in Ajith’s ‘Vidaamuyarchi’

The producers of Ajith’s eagerly awaited project, *Vidaamuyarchi*, have been giving fascinating information ahead of the much awaited Diwali premiere. They just revealed a surprise poster with actor Arjun Sarja, which has generated some quite a buzz. Complementing a brown leather jacket, black jeans, and a long haircut, complete with shades, the billboard features the Kollywood diva in a chic avatar. 

A shadow of Ajith in the background accentuates the mystery. Seeing their beloved 90s hero in a modern style excites fans and generates rumors that Arjun would be playing the antagonist. Still, the creators have kept the specifics of his persona under secrecy.

After 13 years, *Vidaamuyarchi* notes the reunion of Thala Ajith and Arjun Sarja. Last seen together in the 2011 hit *Mankatha*, the actors, with a large Tamil following, For those excitedly waiting for the pair to reappear on film, this reunion is a unique pleasure.

Reports indicate a possible release date of either October 10 or October 31, 2024, even if shooting and post-production for the Ajith-starrer are still under progress. Still to come, though, is formal confirmation from Lyca Productions, the producing house. Under direction by Magizh Thirumeni, the forthcoming road adventure thriller officially remakes the 1997 Hollywood cult hit ‘Breakdown’. Thala Ajith, according to Ajith’s manager Suresh Chandra, is a dedicated husband on a road journey in Azerbaijan trying to save his kidnapped wife.

Key roles in the movie also go to Arav and Regina Cassandra. The soundtrack is written by Anirudh Ravichander; Nirav Shah is the cinematographer. Netflix has bought OTT rights for the film.
