Superstar Rajnikanth's 167th film Darbar directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Lyca Productions was released worldwide on January 9 as an advanced Pongal feast for the fans of the actor, and the movie has been running to packed houses and support from fans.

Also starring Lady Superstar Nayanthara, Nivetha Thomas, Yogi Babu, Suniel Shetty, Prateik Babbar, Nawab Shah and many others, Darbar which has music by Anirudh and cinematography by Santosh Sivan has Rajnikanth playing the Mumbai Commissioner of police Aaditya Arunachalam.

After various speculations on the collections of Darbar, now Lyca Productions has officially announced the opening collections of the movie. As announced by Lyca Productions, the Superstar Rajnikanth starrer has grossed 150 crores worldwide in its first 4 days.
