Director A.R. Murugadoss's Tamil-Telugu bilingual 'Spyder' starring Mahesh Babu in the lead role is getting ready to hit the screens for the Aayudha Pooja festival weekend on September.27, 2017. The film also stars Rakul Preet Singh, SJ Surya, RJ Balaji and Bharath in important roles.
Now we learn that Lyca Productions which made its entry into Tamil film industry with Murugadoss's Vijay starrer blockbuster 'Kaththi', has acquired the Tamil Nadu theatrical release rights of 'Spyder'. This will ensure a record number of screens for 'Spyder' in Tamil Nadu. This is the first direct Tamil film of the Tollywood Prince Mahesh Babu.
Lyca is currently involved in the production of '2.0', the 400 crore budgeted magnum opus and many other films. They are also involved in distribution of Tamil films.
