Mohanlal Discusses the Challenges of Making Entertaining Films

The 2019 film ‘Lucifer’, starring Mohanlal and Manju Warrier, was a massive hit. It marked the directorial debut of actor Prithviraj. The film also featured Tovino Thomas, Vivek Oberoi, and John Vijay among others. Its sequel, titled ‘L2: Empuraan’, has been directed by Prithviraj and is set to release on the 27th of this month in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.

A press meet for the film was held in Chennai, where Mohanlal shared his thoughts. He revealed that the story was planned as a trilogy. After the success of ‘Lucifer’, they worked on ‘Empuraan’ and plan to make a third film as well. He described the film as a grand production.

Mohanlal emphasized that creating an entertaining film is challenging. He highlighted the importance of good acting, music, and cinematography. Both he and Prithviraj put in great effort to ensure the film’s success. The movie has already received positive reception through ticket bookings not just in Kerala, but also in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and international markets.
