The Tamil film ‘Love Today’ is up for a theatrical dubbed release in Telugu in November. Its trailer was released a while ago.
Writer-director Pradeep Ranganathan, who is also the film’s hero, plays Utthaman Pradeep, a compulsive flirt who has been telling lies to his girlfriend all along. His girlfriend’s father (Sathyaraj in a mischievous role) asks his daughter and Utthaman to exchange their phones for a day and figure out if they know each other fully. No prizes for guessing that Utthaman’s dirty secrets are stored in the phone. But why is his girlfriend, too, scared about her boyfriend having her phone with him for a day? What secrets does she have?
The situational comedy is also powered by Yogi Babu, among others.
The film, whose music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja, has been a roaring hit in Tamil. With Dinesh Purushothaman as the director of photography and Pradeep E Ragav as the editor, the Telugu release in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana is by Dil Raju on Sri Venkateswara Creations.
