We already reported to you that Lokesh is crafting a mass entertainer for Thalapathy Vijay and also revealed that the film will be a remake of David Cronenberg's cult classic gangster flick ' A History of Violence' released in the year 2005.
The latest report states that the Kaithi director has bought the film rights and has redrafted the story and screenplay to suit Thalapathy Vijay's stardom in Tamil Nadu. An interesting but uncertain report also states that the story has come out to be a banger and he has also included a few of his LCU characters in it.
A History of Violence is a 2005 action thriller film directed by David Cronenberg and written by Josh Olson. It is an adaptation of the 1997 graphic novel of the same title by John Wagner and Vince Locke. The film stars Viggo Mortensen, Maria Bello, William Hurt, and Ed Harris.
Thalapathy on the other hand is currently shooting for his upcoming film Varisu alongside National Crush Rashmika Mandanna. The film's first single was released recently and was well-received by the audience.
