Breaking! Lokesh Kanagaraj to work in another movie before ‘Thalapathy 67’?

After the tremendous success of Kamal Haasan’s ‘Vikram’ all eyes are on its director Lokesh Kanagaraj and his next moves.  It is already common knowledge that he is going to direct his ‘Master’ hero Vijay’s ‘Thalapathy 67’ and the preproduction work is in full swing.

Meanwhile reliable sources have reported that Lokesh is going to work in another project before ‘Thalapathy 67’.  However it is not as a director but as a story writer while his regular writer Rathnakumar will take the director’s chair.

The new project will have Raghava Lawrence in the lead role and director N. Linguswamy will be producing it under his Tirupati Brothers banner.  The story is said to be an out and out commercial action entertainer with Lokesh’s unique touch and filmed in the humour laden style of Rathnakumar.

The word in Kollywood is that Raghava Lawrence and Lokesh Kanagaraj have come on board due to the immense respect they have for Linguswamy.  The official announcement is expected sooner rather than later.
