Lokesh Kanagaraj made his directorial debut with 'Managaram' and won instant critical acclaim. He followed it up with back to back blockbuster hits 'Kaithi' starring Karthi and 'Master' starring Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi. He is currently involved in the postproduction work of his dream come true film 'Vikram' in which Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan is playing the lead and also producing.

'Vikram' has music by Anirudh and stars Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil and is expected to release in May end this year. Meanwhile Lokesh has shared a photo with a friend called Srini and emotionally wrote that back in 2010 when he was a struggling filmmaker he never used to have money in the month end.

Lokesh added that it was Srini who fed him during those times and that he is proud to be the friend of the hotel owner. After 'Vikram' the sensational filmmaker is reportedly reuniting with Vijay for 'Thalapathy 67'.
