Actor Sonu Sood had been known for playing villain as well as supporting roles in many movies in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi, and during the corona lockdown became a national hero by helping many migrants and needy people.

Now, Sonu Sood is all set to write a book about his experience of helping migrant workers reach their hometowns in COVID lockdown. In a recent interview, the actor said that the past three and half months gave him a life-changing experience, living with migrants for 16 to 18 hours a day and sharing their pain, and feeling happy and relieved when they started their journey back home.

Sonu Sood further said that watching them smile and shed happy tears is the most special experience of his life, and he believes that he came to this city for this. Sonu thanked God for making him a catalyst in helping the migrants, and revealed that he has decided to put the experiences and stories in a book, which will be published by Penguin Random House India.
