Director Lingusamy is gearing up to give his 2014 action film Anjaan a fresh lease of life with a re-edited version set for re-release.
Originally starring Suriya and Samantha, Anjaan received mixed reviews upon its initial release. However, the film’s Hindi-dubbed version, which was recently re-edited and re-released, garnered a more positive response, prompting renewed interest in the Tamil original.
In a recent interview, Lingusamy revealed that he is working on a re-edited version of Anjaan for Tamil audiences and that an official announcement regarding its release will be made soon.
With the current trend of re-releasing past blockbusters finding success at the box office, fans are now curious to see whether this new version of Anjaan, re-releasing after 11 years, will strike the right chord.
