Kollywood is yet to recover from the jolt that Chinmayi gave a week or so ago alleging veteran lyricist Vairamuthu of sexual misbehavior and threatening her using his political clout.  Since then the Me Too movement has gained momentum on social media with fresh allegations coming against front line film personalities such as Arjun, Thiagarajan, Susi Ganesan and several other musicians.

Latha Rajinikanth in a recent press interaction has stated that she cannot comment on the Me Too movement and it is the affected women who should speak out.  She adviced that no one should be hurt and everyone involved should have unity.  Latha refused to answer any questions about hubby Rajinikanth's political entry.
