'Lakshya', the sports drama starring Naga Shaurya in the lead, will hit the screens on December 10. Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP today locked the release date of the sports drama.

Directed by Dheerendra Santhossh Jagarlapudi and jointly produced by Narayan Das Narang, Puskur Ram Mohan Rao and Sharrath Marar, the film has Ketika Sharma of 'Romantic' fame as the female lead. Starring Jagapathi Babu in a key role, it has Sachin Khedekar as the lead man's grandfather. Kaala Bhairava is its composer, while the dialogues are by Srujanamani. Sharmela Yalisetty is its art director.

Shaurya was most recently seen in 'Varudu Kaavalenu'. Talking about his other upcoming movies recently, the actor said, "We have plans to release my home banner's film with director Anish Krishna in February, 2022. As for 'Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi', it has been a marathon project that will feature me in eight different avatars. 'Police Vaari Heccharika' is in limbo because of the untimely demise of producer Mahesh Koneru."
