Director Lakshmikanth Chenna, who awaits the release of his romantic entertainer Commitment, has been stepped in as the second unit director for Pawan Kalyan's period action entertainer, PSPK 27, directed by Krish. A source in the know tells us that Lakshmikanth, a close aide of Pawan Kalyan, has been handling the unit, which doesn't need the presence of the actor. Hitherto, the scenes involving Nidhhi Agerwal and other support actors were being shot by Lakshmikanth in line with the pivotal scenes that are being directed by Krish.

The film's shooting is currently progressing at a rapid pace in a specially constructed Gandikota kingdom set at Saradhi Studios. Incidentally, Pawan Kalyan has been juggling between the sets of PSPK 27 and PSPK 30 on a daily basis with the morning call sheets allocated to the former and the afternoons dedicated to the shooting of the Ayyappanum Koshiyum remake. Produced by AM Rathnam, PSPK 27 is rumoured to be titled Hari Hara Veera Mallu and the film's first look poster showcasing Pawan Kalyan holding a sword will be released on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri on March 11. Also starring Arjun Rampal and Jacqueline Fernandez in crucial cameos, PSPK 27 is releasing in theatres for Sankranthi 2022.
