The holding of the Federal Front meet in Hyderabad on Wednesday has become a national talking point. Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao's son and TRS leader KT Rama Rao met with YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to fortify the non-BJP, non-Congress political front.
The duo said that they spoke to Karnataka CM H D Kumaraswamy as well as prominent Chhattisgarh politician Ajit Jogi regarding the Front.
Jagan recently said, "Between them, Telangana and AP have got 42 seats. This number is enough to exert pressure on the Centre."
It may be noted that KCR has constituted a four-member team for the purpose of holding discussions with leaders across the country regarding the Front. KTR, B Vinod Kumar (MP), Palla Rajeshwar Reddy are three of its members.
KCR has already met West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav and BSP chief Mayawati in recent weeks.
