Krish Jagarlamudi, who started shooting 'NTR' early July, has wrapped up the biopic's first schedule. Besides Nandamuri Balakrishna, Vidya Balan (playing NTR's wife Basavatarakam), Prakash Raj (playing Nagi Reddy), Murali Sharma (playing Aluri Chakrapani), Naresh (playing BA Subba Rao) and others participated in the schedule.

As per latest reports, the film's story will be narrated by Basavatarakam. "She was a very private person. She held her own despite being the wife of a demi-god. My character is extremely integral to the story," Vidya Balan recently said. It seems Krish is once again giving importance to a female character after 'Gautamiputra Satakarni'

If the film's base story is by Dr. L Srikanth, its dialogues are by Sai Madhav Burra. MM Keeravani and Santosh Thundiyil are music director and cinematographer, respectively. Ramakrishna and Monika of 'Rangasthalam' fame are its art directors.
