“I have returned to my original genre of realistic action with ‘Kondaa’,” Ram Gopal Varma today tweeted, sharing the trailer of the movie. ‘Kondaa’, the biopic of Konda Murali and Konda Surekha, is slated to hit the screens on June 23. Its pre-release trailer is almost three minutes long.
The trailer, in a true RGV style, chronicles the rise of the couple as rebels, who became political leaders in Telangana. Thrigun (formerly known as Adith Arun) is angrier than before. Irra Mor is essaying the female lead.
We see RGV’s voice-over referencing Karl Marx. “Extreme situations give rise to extreme individuals” is mentioned. Also starring Prudhviraj, Parvathi Arun, Prashanth, LB Sriram, Tulasi, ‘Jabardasth’ Ram Prasad, Abhilash Chowdhary, Shravan, Anil Kumar Reddy Lingampalli, Giridhar Chandramouli, Ravi, Shabeena and others, the film borrows the ‘Bolo Telangana’ song from the folk culture.
With music by DSR and cinematography by Joshi Malharbhat, its editing is by Manish Thakur. The film has dialogues by Barath Kumar. Production Design is by Agasthya Company, while action choreography is by B Srikanth.
