Days after releasing a gritty, violent, and dark trailer, the makers of 'Konaseema Thugs' have unveiled a song titled 'Amman' from the movie. The setting is a rural ritual dedicated to Kalika Mata. The film's hero, Hridhu Haroon, plays a youngster who is devotional and is going through a transcendental experience during the festival. Like the hero from 'Kantara', he looks joyous and also a bit angry at the same time.
What makes the song more sincere is the fact that it has been sung by Kaala Bhairava. The singer complements composer Sam CS' talent.
The film, a noir actioner, is going to hit the screens in February. Bobby Simha, the other lead actor in the movie, was recently seen in 'Waltair Veerayya'. He is also seen in this week's theatrical release 'Vasantha Mullai' ('Vasantha Kokila' in Telugu). Directed by Ramanan Purushothama, Kashmira Paradeshi is its heroine.
RK Suresh, Munishkanth, Anaswara Rajan, Sarath Appani, PL Thenappan are playing important roles in 'Konaseema Thugs'. Director Brinda sets the story in the backdrop of a prison. There is also a love story, complete with chases and police torture.
