Famous director accused of rape and sexual harassment

Instances of sexually predative behaviour has become rampant in showbiz with actresses and other victims stepping up the fight by voicing out the injustice done to them. After a slew of accusations erupted in Hollywood, the latest to join the list is Korean director Kim Ki-duk.
A south Korean investigative programme had the testimonies of three actresses who piled allegations on the famous director. Identities of all the three actresses has been withheld. One of the actresses had claimed that Kim asked her to engage in a three-way and when she refused the director stated he cannot work with an actor who cannot trust him.
Allegations wer piled on actor Cho-Jae hyun as well who is a frequent collaborator with Kim. Another actress said the duo had raped her following which she had to receive psychiatric therapy. However, Kim refuted the allegations claiming that he never tried to fulfill his personal desires through his movies. “I have been involved in intimate relationships, but it was always consensual. I am, however, ashamed of this as a married family man,” he said.
Kim is widely known for his films such as 'Moebius', 'Pieta', 'Spring,Summer,Fall,Winter. . .and Spring' which had received critical acclaim in the international film space.
