Kiara Advani to do an item song & an anthology

Kiara Advani is busy not just with Ram Charan’s untitled next but also with ‘Lust Stories’, a Hindi-language anthology film.  The ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’ actress is upbeat to have teamed up with director Karan Johar for one of the film’s segments.  

To be also directed by Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar, and Dibakar Banerjee, the anthology will be telecast on Netflix.  “While I was blessed to have Karan sir direct me and hold my hand throughout, the character despite being a challenging role was liberating to perform,” the actress tells a news agency.  

She will also be seen in Kalank, a Hindi-language film helmed by Abhishek Varman. Kiara will be seen doing an item song in this film that mainly stars Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Sanjay Dutt.  “It’s a beautifully written special appearance. And it’s the first time I will be seen in a commercial item song,” she says.  ‘Kalank’ is a period film.
