What! Khushbu received this huge salary without even appearing in ‘Varisu’?

Veteran actress Khushbu is currently busy in her role as a BJP leader and accepts film roles from time to time.   She gave the surprise update a few months earlier that she was doing a role in Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Varisu’ and her photo with the mass hero and the heroine Rashmika Mandanna went viral on the internet.

However her fans were shocked when she was totally missing in ‘Varisu’ when the film released in January this year.  Meanwhile in an interview Praveen KL the editor of the film shared that Khushbu played the role of Rashmika’s mother and she was part of a 17 minute footage that was deleted due to the excessive duration of the final output.

Now news has emerged that Dil Raju and director Vamshi Paidipally wanted Khusbhu in the special role so much that she was paid rupees forty lakhs salary.  According to the editor the team is planning to release the deleted scenes of ‘Varisu’ and Khushbu’s scenes and fans can witness her solid performance.

‘Varisu’ has music by Thaman and is officially said to have crossed rupees three hundred crores worldwide.  The film has an ensemble cast comprising Vijay, Rashmika, Sarathkumar, Prabhu, Jayasudha, Shaam, Srikanth, S.J. Suryah, Prakash Raj, Sangeetha, Samyuktha and Yogi Babu.
