‘Dhoomam’ is the title of Hombale Film’s one of the under-production movies. Starring Fahadh Faasil of ‘Pushpa’ and ‘Vikram’ fame in the lead, its intriguing first look was unveiled on Monday.
“There is no smoke without fire. Here is the first spark,” the banner said, unveiling the poster.
Producer Vijay Kiragandur and director Pawan Kumar are preparing to impress four sets of audiences: Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, although the hero hails from Mollywood.
Also featuring Aparna Balamurali (who features in the first look) and Dev Mohan of the recent ‘Shaakuntalam’ fame, the film is a thriller with a rousing concept. The cinematography is by Preetha Jayaraman.
Hombale Films is yet to finalize the release date. It has Prabhas’ ‘Salaar’ coming up in theatres on September 28 this year. The banner, which recently floated ‘Kantara 2’, will lock the release date of ‘Dhoomam’ as it deems appropriate.
