Kerala Student’s Tragic Suicide Samantha Expresses Grief and Concern

A 15-year-old Kerala student, Mihir Muhammad, tragically ended his life after being subjected to bullying by classmates. This incident has sparked significant outrage and discussions online, with numerous individuals criticizing the circumstances leading to such a tragic outcome. Actress Samantha also expressed her grief and anger through a post on Instagram.

In her post, she stated, “Despite reaching 2025, we still lose bright young lives. Hate and poison-filled actions have pushed someone so far that it cost them their life. Mihir’s death reminds us that bullying, ragging, and harassment are not just harmless traditions. They are forms of psychological, emotional, and sometimes even physical violence.”

Samantha further emphasized the failure of the system: “Even though strict anti-ragging laws exist, students often suffer silently, fearing retaliation or thinking no one will help. Where have we gone wrong? Condolences are not enough; actions are required. Authorities must investigate thoroughly and ensure truth prevails. Justice for Mihir must be served. His parents need answers, and strict, immediate actions need to be taken.”

Addressing her young followers, she urged, “If you witness harassment, speak up and support the victim. Allowing such acts in silence only lets them continue. If you are being harassed, seek help—there is always a solution. Let’s teach our children compassion and understanding, not fear and surrender. Mihir’s death should wake us up, and ensuring justice for him will prevent future tragedies. We owe him that much.”
