Keerthy Suresh follows Kamal’s technique for Savithri biopic

There have been innumerable heroines stating that their role model in South Indian cinema is Savithri but it is only Keerthy Suresh who has been blessed with playing the legend in a new movie titled 'Nadigayar Thilagam' in Tamil and 'Mahanati' in Telugu.

Savithri by nature was on the plump side and it was rumored that Keerthy Suresh is putting on weight to nail the character perfectly.  However Keerthy has clarified that she is using prosthetic makeup to get the look.  it may be recalled that Kamal pioneered the makeup technique in Indian cinema and has extensively used it in many of his films including 'Avvai Shanmughi', 'Indran Chandran', 'Dasavatharam' and others.
