Even such legends as Rajini and Kamal had their brief excursions in the North and Mani Ratnam still continues to strike the right balance between the two poles. However the times have changed and now we have the Bollywood bigwigs considering acting in Tamil cinema a prestige and here we list them out for you in upcoming movies.
Sridevi
The dream girl of Tamil cinema during the Rajini-Kamal era went on to rule the roost in Bollywood making it her home. She was back in Tamil after many years in ?Puli? and now in her fiftieth year in the industry and 300th film ?Mom? Sridevi has also made a Tamil version with A.R. Rahman scoring the music. She obviously hopes to repeat the ?English Vinglish? magic that had some major help from Thala Ajith?s cameo inTamil.
Rahul Bose and Shekar Kapur
In Kamal Haasan?s upcoming ?Vishwaroopam 2? on one side we have Rahul Bose as the chief antagonist who is one of the early Indian actors to get recognition in the west. On the other hand we have Shekar Kapur the director of Oscar winning ?Elizabeth?. Well that?s double the horsepower that only Kamal can gather in one film.
