The finale of Bigg Boss-2 threw up the predicted winner. Kaushal Manda it is. The man of the moment. Host Nani and guest Victory Venkatesh were too tensed to announce the winner. They fell back on the ‘Naa-Nee’ TV to do the honours. And as soon as Kaushal was announced the winner, the housemate broke into tears.
“I entered Hyderabad as a zero. Today, here I am. It’s because of the fight the other contestants have given me that I became stronger. It’s they who triggered ‘kasi’ in me,” Kaushal said, as all the ousted contestants present on the occasion and finalists looked on. Geetha Madhuri, the runner-up, was visibly sad but had the spirit to congratulate Kaushal.
Kaushal then promised to spend the prize money for a noble cause. ”My mother had died of cancer. No ‘amma’ should go without treatment. I will donate the prize money (Rs. 50 lakhs) towards cancer treatment (of the needy),” Kaushal noted.
He was touched by the presence of his family members. As soon as he won the title, Kaushal walked down the stage and hugged his family members.
