Kasturi Shankar has revealed that she is suffering from adult chickenpox. Taking to social media, the multi-lingual actress put out pics of herself showing her pockmarks.

Calling them her little friends, Kasturi heaved a sigh of relief saying that the disease hasn't thankfully affected her eyes.

She added that adult chickenpox is life-threatening at most. "It is certainly disfiguring at best. I am lucky that my eyes were spared. Thanks to those who stood by me. Forever grateful," she wrote, adding that she hopes her Instafamily continues to shower its love and support on her.

Kasturi always had soft skin. But it's now a thing of the past. She has accepted her new normal.

In 2018, during the Me Too movement, Kasturi revealed that many high-profile people have been slippered by her for making a pass on her and that when she meets them in public, they try to act normal.
