What is the fate of Karthik Subbaraj’s next with Dhanush?

In April, Dhanush and Karthik Subbaraj announced that they will be teaming up for a film that will start rolling from September. But after the release of Karthik's third directorial venture, 'Iraivi' the young filmmaker has been surrounded by a controversy as he incurred the wrath of a section of Tamil film producers who were offended by the portrayal of a film producer in the film.

This lead to rumors that Dhanush did not want to work with Karthik as he has incurred the wrath of producer and the duo's project has been dropped.

But this turns out to be an utterly baseless rumor. The 'Pizza' director has requested people to not believe in such rumors and his film with Dhanush is very much on track and the shooting will start as announced.

A source close to Dhanush has also confirmed that the actor has not altered his decision to work with Karthik Subbaraj and the duo's impending teaming up is very much a reality.

We hear that Karthik is currently busy penning the script for the film.
