A few days back it was reported that Telugu director Ravi Udugala who helmed ‘Needi Naadi Oke Katha’ has narrated a script to Karthi and he has given a nod for a bilingual. The Karthi camp has sent out an official clarification dismissing the news as baseless rumours and that he was never approached for such a project.
Karthi has finished shooting for his family drama entertainer ‘Kadaikutty Singam’ directed by Pandiraj and produced by Suriya’s 2D Entertainment. Once the Kollywood strike ends he will devote his full attention to ‘Karthi 17’ in which he costars with Navarasa Nayagan Karthik, Ramya Krishnan and Rakul Preet.
