Karthi’s tribute to MGR in the first look of ‘Karthi 26’ with Nalan Kumarasamy!

Nalan Kumarasamy, a celebrated screenwriter and filmmaker in Tamil cinema, is famous for ‘Soodhu Kavvum’, ‘Kadhalum Kadanthu Pogum’, and ‘Super Deluxe’. He joined hands with actor Karthi for ‘Karthi 26’ recently. Produced by Studio Green, the movie’s title and first look were revealed yesterday.

As we reported earlier, ‘Karthi 26’ is titled ‘Vaa Vaathiyaar’. The poster showcases Karthi as a stylish cop surrounded by lookalikes of Puratchi Thalaivar MGR. The film is described as a quirky entertainer, featuring Karthi as a devoted MGR fan. The shooting is in its final stages, and the makers are planning a grand release by the end of the year.

‘Vaa Vaathiyaar’ star Karthi, Krithi Shetty, Rajkiran, Sathyaraj, GM Sundar and others. The technical team comprises Santhosh Narayanan as the music composer, George C Williams as the cinematographer, Vetri Krishnan as the editor, DRK Kiran as the art director, Anl Arasu as the action director and Tuney John as the publicity designer.
