Vishnu Manchu has once again delighted his fans and cinema enthusiasts with a new surprise. Amidst his busy schedule with the ambitious pan-India film "Kannappa," Vishnu is set to launch the first volume of a comic book based on the legendary figure.

Kannappa, a revered figure in Telugu folklore, holds a significant place in the history of the famous Srikalahasti Temple in Andhra Pradesh.Vishnu Manchu took to Instagram on Saturday, March 16, to announce this exciting news.

In a video message, the actor revealed that people from various states, particularly North India, have been inquiring about Kannappa, showing a lack of awareness about his story.

Given the challenge of individually responding to all these queries, Vishnu decided to release the first volume of a comic book on Kannappa on March 19. "This will be a limited edition collectible, a storybook. Having grown up reading Amar Chitra Katha and Tinkle comics, I wanted to create a book in a similar vein," Vishnu shared.

"On March 19, which is my hero's birthday – my father's (Mohan Babu) birthday – I will launch the Kannappa storybook. There will be several more volumes. Those interested in learning about Kannappa can DM me their address and details on Instagram. My office will send them the book free of charge," he added.

Vishnu Manchu also expressed his gratitude for the love and blessings showered on the first look of "Kannappa." The film, directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, features Vishnu Manchu in the lead role. The film boasts an ensemble cast, including Mohan Babu, Mohanlal, Prabhas, R Sarathkumar, Madhoo, and Brahmanandam.

Currently, the team is filming the second schedule in New Zealand, with Prabhu Deva recently joining to choreograph a song. Adding to the film's charm, Vishnu Manchu's five-year-old son Avram is making his acting debut in this fantasy drama, while Bharatanatyam dancer Preity Mukhundhan is set to make her Telugu debut with "Kannappa."
