In addition to the captivating visuals, Manchu Vishnu shared the star-studded cast, featuring cameo roles by legendary actors Mohan Babu, Mohanlal, Prabhas, and Shiva Rajkumar. In ‘Kannappa,’ Manchu Vishnu steps into the shoes of the titular character, an ardent devotee of Lord Shiva, while Prabhas and Nayanthara essay the roles of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvathi, respectively. Directed by Mukesh Singh, the period film boasts a captivating narrative crafted collaboratively by Paruchuri Gopalakrishna, Burra Sai Madhav, and Thota Prasad.

Notably, the film originally cast Nupur Sanon as the female lead, but due to unavoidable delays and scheduling conflicts, she had to withdraw from the project. Despite this setback, the cast, including the powerhouse trio of Manchu Vishnu, Prabhas, and Nayanthara, continues to generate buzz.
